Careers With Extra Hands
Extra Hands for ALS runs a national volunteer program through which high school and
college students, guided by adult mentors, work throughout the school year helping families that have
been affected by ALS by doing household chores and errands. The students also raise awareness of the
disease in their communities. Extra Hands for ALS is an equal opportunity employer.
Currently, we have no openings, but check back here often because new positions become available frequently.

Start A Chapter!
If you want to start an Extra Hands chapter in your area, we would love to work with you. To ensure the success of your efforts we require that you raise two years of funding, roughly $150,000, before we launch the chapter with you. Sure, it's a big challenge, but the many people you'll help expect the very best from us.
Let's Talk About It
