ALS Activism
The Extra Hands Network is about ALS activism. We are ALS families, Extra Hands volunteers,
athletes, and ordinary people just like you who work together to fight ALS. We have many
important goals:
- raising public awareness of the disease,
- supporting each other by sharing personal stories and caregiving tips,
- banding together to influence lawmakers on legislation that could affect ALS families,
- raising funding for research, and
- finding others locally or nationally who share a passion for fighting ALS.
