Extra Hands is a national voluntary service charity developing young people into tomorrow's leaders by engaging them in the fight against ALS, also called Lou Gehrig's disease.

Students who volunteer to assist families battling ALS become adults better capable of addressing challenges in their own lives and communities.

By helping ALS families and organizing public awareness initiatives, students provide a valuable community service and learn critical teamwork and leadership skills while doing it.
